Yes! In these recession prone times, many a company want to limit spending on their website, and at Ojaswi Tech, we understand this. Besides pricing our designing charges competitively, we also work within stipulated budgetary requirements.
After receiving your confirmatory e-mail and the required advance, we will begin the mock development of your web site design home page as per the approved site structure. This mock will be based on a detailed brief from you (see the Ojaswi Web Site Design Questionnaire) and personal / telephonic interactions. Usually, we provide one mock based on your brief. We then deploy this mock on our / your server in HTML format. Upon your approval (with suitable modifications) wherever needed, we then proceed with the development of the inner page mock, following the same iterative process. We designate a single point of contact from our company, and request you to do the same. Typically a 10 pages static website takes about 15 days to complete, assuming we get timely feedback from your company. A database driven site takes about 3 weeks or more, depending upon the complexity of the project. Our detailed web site proposal defines the time lines and the mile stones in detail.
One of the best aspects of website designing is the transparency it provides. Since most of the websites that we design are deployed on a server and open for everyone to view, we encourage potential clients to take a look at our existing web site designs. We will start development work only after you are satisfied that we have what it takes and agree to our standard terms and conditions. In other words, we do not believe in any freebies!
From practical experience, we have decided not to proceed unless we get the final version of the content. Website design is a complex process, and there are many constrains in ensuring cross browser compatibility. While minor edits are not a problem, a big change in the text can affect the UI design. It is better for everyone involved to start the designing process only after all the content is in place.
We adhere to W3 guidelines while implementing all our web sites. Further, we ensure that our websites are compatible in all the leading browsers like Firefox, IE, Opera and Safari across all the major platforms.
Style sheets (CSS) make website maintenance very easy, and have become our de-facto choice. Check any of our website in the Portfolio section for examples.
Yes, we do. Copy writing for the web is a different ball game than writing for the print / ad media and takes expertise that comes only through experience. Further, there are demographic considerations...there is a difference between British English, Indian English and the U.S. English. We develop content based on the client's exact requirements.
After the website is deployed and we receive the final payment, we upload / mail the latest design, PSD files and all the code to the client.
Absolutely! We believe in long term relations, and assist our clients in keeping their web site up to date. We do not charge for minor text edits like change of address, change in contact information, etc. at any point of time. For websites that require continuous updates, we provide service and bill by the hour.
For a small website, we charge an advance fee of 35%. The balance is to be paid after the site is deployed. For bigger projects, payments are to be made according to the milestones decided. Once we receive the complete payment, we hand over all the relevant designs / code to the client. We accept payment by PayPal or by cheque.
